Hydrogen Expertise Across Technology, Industry and Education
Bringing together technology expertise, industry experience, commercial understanding and practical training across hydrogen, fuel cells and electrolysers.
Who We Help
We work with companies, R&D and technology teams, and education partners who need to understand, evaluate or apply hydrogen, fuel cell and electrolyser technologies — from materials and components to implementation and training.
Industry & Technology Companies
Assess hydrogen technologies, components and applications — connecting technical decisions with implementation and market needs.
Discuss Your H2-ChallengeR&D & Innovation Teams
Turn materials, cell and system expertise into robust development choices, applications and commercial opportunities.
Discuss Your H2-ChallengeEducation & Training Partners
Build practical hydrogen capability through hands-on training with real equipment, experiments, components and materials.
Discuss Your H2-ChallengeHow We Work
From Technical Clarity to Implementation
We start by understanding the technical and commercial challenge, define a focused path forward and stay involved through implementation — combining evidence, practical experience and industry perspective.
Selected Hydrogen Work & Results
Industrial companies and their advisers bring us in for confidential expert assessments when hydrogen technologies, materials, components or systems require an independent technical perspective. We help clarify technology choices, performance, development risks and the implications for industrial application and commercialisation — drawing on scientific, engineering and industrial experience.
More than 100 participants have already been trained through our practical hydrogen programmes within Green SKHy. Working with real fuel-cell and electrolyser equipment, participants investigate systems, components and materials through experiments, performance measurements, cell assembly and disassembly, and practical failure scenarios. We bring the equipment and expertise to where the training is needed.
Hydrogen and deep-tech start-ups approach us when promising technology needs a credible path towards industrial application and growth. We connect technical development with business models, market requirements, industrial partnerships and investment readiness — helping identify the critical next steps towards scale-up.
Hydrogen projects need more than technology expertise. Through our strategic cooperation with PLANET, we bring engineering experience into the transition from concept to practical implementation — spanning systems, infrastructure, technical planning and the realities of putting hydrogen solutions into operation.

FAQs
Practical answers about hydrogen advisory, training and project support.
Book a free 30-minute Discovery Call. We will discuss your technical or training challenge, clarify what you need and determine whether — and how — we can support you.
We support questions around fuel cells, electrolysers, materials, components, technology assessment, industrialisation, commercialisation and practical hydrogen training. If a challenge requires engineering implementation, we can draw on our strategic cooperation with PLANET.
Yes. We work both online and on-site across Switzerland and Europe. Advisory can often be handled remotely; practical training and engineering-related work are typically delivered on-site where this adds value.
Yes. For hands-on training, we bring the required fuel-cell, electrolyser and experimental equipment to the training location. This allows practical hydrogen training to be delivered directly at companies, universities and training centres.
Yes. Content can be adapted to the participants’ background, learning objectives and technical focus — from fundamentals to materials, cell performance, system behaviour and practical experiments.
We work with engineers, technicians, R&D teams, students, trainers and professionals who need a practical understanding of hydrogen, fuel cells and electrolysers. The depth is adapted to the group.
Pricing depends on the format, preparation required, group size and location. Advisory can be booked for focused expert support; training and larger engagements are quoted individually. Travel and logistics are agreed transparently in advance.
Absolutely. We regularly work with commercially sensitive technologies, materials, development programmes and business information. We are happy to sign an NDA before an engagement begins.
Technical information, notes and materials are treated with strict discretion and are never shared without explicit permission. We are accustomed to working with confidential R&D, technology and commercialisation topics.
Only with explicit permission. Where confidentiality is required, organisations and identifying details remain anonymous. Client names, technical information and project results are never published without prior agreement.
Depending on the challenge, you will work with Dr.-Ing. Birgit Thoben of Future.Solutions and, where relevant, Prof. Robert Steinberger-Wilckens through our strategic cooperation with PLANET. This allows us to combine technology, materials, engineering, commercialisation and practical training expertise.
